Malawi Mission Team Is On The Way
…originally posted in the Crossover Malawi Newsletter…
Today is the day! By the time you're reading this your fellow CUPS Malawi supporters have been traveling toward Pastor Mark Zimbiri and our friends in Malawi for several hours. They're taking with them gifts that we hope will encourage and renew the missionaries on the ground and the people you serve through your partnership with CUPS Malawi!
Over the next 10 days, your team of missionaries will spend time at the Mission School, Vocational School and Clinic, and deliver news that through your gifts, the River of Life Clinic can reopen with funding for the next full year, as well as news of the gifts you gave to provide tools for graduates of the vocational school. Praise the Lord and thank you for your partnership to meet these needs!
The team also prepared to lead in a Bible conference for area women, children, and pastors. Kids lessons include living for Jesus, and putting our faith in him rather than ourselves. The ladies will discuss rooting our identity in Christ and what he's done, and being a woman of God through that identity. We have several pastors on the team who will work together to lead a study through the whole book of Galatians with students in the Mission School, providing biblical teaching and ongoing conversation with local pastors in the training session.
We are excited about what God is going to do this week, and hopefully you are too. Will you commit to pray each day, August 1-11, for the team as they serve alongside Pastor Mark Zimbiri and the people of Malawi? Please pray for safe and smooth travel, that many would come to the events that are planned, that God will use the efforts of the team and His Word to bring lasting impact to the lives of the people we serve, and that through the ongoing efforts of CUPS Malawi missionaries many will hear and respond to the Gospel in faith.
